The "Art" of Playing Cards is the brainchild of Linda Rae Coughlin. Each artist committed to designing an 18" x 28" art rug depicting one card from a deck of playing cards. This includes the 13 cards from each suit (hearts, clubs, diamonds and spades), two jokers and the back of the deck for a total of 55 pieces. Participants come from twenty United States, Canada, England and Japan.
FOR SALE: The deck of playing cards in full color in a clear plastic box. $15.00 plus shipping.
A full color catalog with all 55 fiber pieces along with a description of inspiration for each piece written by the artist. 30 pages. $15.00 plus shipping.
